The autonomous wall spraying robot is designed to automate the process of painting walls, providing a more efficient and consistent solution compared to traditional methods. The robot is equipped with IMU, cameras and other sensors impelmented with algorithms for navigate autonomously, ensuring precise coverage and minimizing paint wastage. This innovation not only saves time and labor costs but also enhances the quality of the finished product.

Responsibilities

• Directed a Master’s student project on the development of an autonomous wall spraying robot.
• Provided structural design consultancy and enhanced the mechanical design with a 4-bar linkage.
• Resulting opportunities for projects with TownGas HK for production plant tanks spraying.
• Integrated AGV, IMU, Linear rail and motorise sprayer with ROS for automatic wall painting.
