Project Overview

Borderless Lab 365 lets secondary school students operate physical STEM experiments through a web browser. The experiment hardware is hosted by PolyU's Department of Applied Physics, with live video and sensor readings available during each session.

Project Details

The platform relays user commands to laboratory hardware through PolyU's server, then returns live video and sensor data so students can observe each experiment as it runs.

Selected Contributions

  • Developed real-time, browser-controlled laboratory setups for secondary school students.
  • Led four undergraduate students across the experiment-development work.
  • Designed and built STEM experiment prototypes using SolidWorks and 3D printing.
  • Supported Raspberry Pi and Arduino controls, livestream monitoring, and the web control interface.
