This is a web-based remote laboratory platform that enables anyone to perform experiments anytime, anywhere. All experiments are centralized in the Department of Applied Physics at PolyU and are qualified and maintained by our professors and university staff.

Through the PolyU server, remote experiment setups receive commands from users and send back responses. Users can monitor experiments via live cameras and retrieve sensor data in real time.

Responsibilities

• Developed a web based real-time remote laboratory setups for secondary school students.
• Responsible for leading 4 undergraduate students on the projects.
• Designed and built prototypes of various STEM experiments using SolidWorks and 3D printing.
• Assisted software developments including programming on Raspberry Pi and Arduino control systems and creating livestream control interfaces website.
