Project Overview

kNOw Touch is an infrared gesture interface that lets users activate lift controls without physical contact. Designed for new or existing control panels, the sensor bar was deployed across more than 1,200 units in Hong Kong within one year.

Selected Contributions

  • Coordinated delivery and installation of more than 1,200 units, including deployments at Hong Kong International Airport and Pacific Place.
  • Worked with suppliers on mechanical design, material selection, and microprocessor procurement.
  • Resolved manufacturing, installation, and software issues during production and rollout.
  • Performed quality inspections and performance evaluations across more than 150 deployment processes.
