Honoured that our team won 2nd Runner Up in the Open Section of the Young Professionals Exhibition & Competition 2025 with our CU-Brick Brick Laying Cable-Driven Robot for a real-world construction project. We showcased the prototype at the Purple Zone booth and delivered a technical presentation to industry leaders, demonstrating how cable-driven robotic systems can accelerate and improve safety in brick-laying tasks.

Grateful for the support from our teammates, advisors at CUHK, and everyone who visited our demo. Special thanks to the organisers and IET Hong Kong YMS for a well-run event, and to the industry delegates who provided valuable feedback, including representatives from EMSD, Arup, CLP, HK Electric and MTR. This recognition motivates us to continue refining the system and push towards real-world deployment in construction projects.
